Houzz and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) understand how important it is for emerging architects to gain visibility for their work early on. Such recognition can often act as a springboard for their careers, helping them secure important relationships and even jobs.
To help support new talent, Houzz and the AIA have teamed up to launch the Future of Architecture Residential Design Contest and Showcase. This is the latest initiative in an ongoing strategic partnership between Houzz and the AIA, which aims to increase public awareness and appreciation of the impact that good design can have on our lives.
Every participant who enters the competition will also have their projects and ideas showcased to the more than 25 million people around the globe using Houzz, giving them a unique opportunity to gain exposure for their work.
Through April 7, architecture students and new architects can enter for the opportunity to win a number of exciting prizes, including:
– A chance to collaborate with Houzz on a community revitalization project
– $5,000 to invest in their architecture career
– An expenses-paid trip to the 2015 AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in Atlanta
