Houzz Opens Commerce API to Third Party Partners
Houzz is on a mission to make the home renovation and design process more fun and productive, and that includes the experience of shopping for the best products for your home.
Today, we’re excited to open our commerce API to third party partners, bringing even more great sellers and inventory to the Houzz Marketplace. Available as beta to a handful of merchants for a few months, we’re now inviting all merchants who have home goods and are looking to sell on Houzz, as well partners who can help merchants syndicate product listings to integrate with our platform. We know that merchants want fast, seamless ways to integrate with Houzz to submit products, process orders, and keep inventory up-to-date and a commerce API will help us deliver that experience.
Our new solution was used to build a sales channel on the Shopify platform, also announced today, enabling merchants on Shopify to start selling directly on Houzz.
Since we announced the beta launch of our home products marketplace in fall 2014, the platform has grown to more than five million products and over 10,000 merchants.
Merchants interested in selling on Houzz can sign up at houzz.com/sell. Shopify merchants interested in learning more can visit shopify.com/houzz.
