As a member of our Marketplace team in Phoenix, Reg helps to ensure that Houzz Shop customers have a smooth experience. Outside of work, Reg taps in to his artistic side by performing with his band and acting in local plays and musicals.
What does your your role at Houzz entail? I like to think of myself as a one stop shop for customer needs after a Houzz Shop order has been placed. We handle everything from order status to replacements and anything in between. My job is to create positive customer experiences that keep our customers returning to Houzz for the best possible service.
What brought you to Houzz? I was working in healthcare and looking to expand my horizons and career. The growth opportunities that Houzz presented were exciting, but more enticing was the chance to contribute to the company’s culture and development.
What do you like most about your job? The Houzz culture and employees are truly one of a kind. We live our core values; we’re a family. The positive energy provides a workspace that is uplifting and creative. We are truly encouraged to be innovative in every aspect of our roles.
What is your most productive time of day? I am the most productive in the mornings. I like to sort through my tasks and create a priority list for the day.
What is your favorite product from the Houzz Shop? I have an entire ideabook dedicated to the music decor I find on Houzz, I call it Houzz Music!
What is your favorite decor style? When I first came to Houzz I probably couldn’t tell you the difference between Traditional and Southwestern. Now I feel like I could host my own design and remodeling show. My favorite decor style is Urban Modern. With nods to Contemporary, Modern, and Industrial influences, it’s a completely unique and customizable decor style that compliments a wide range of spaces and leaves plenty of options for personal flair and taste.
How have you used Houzz at Home? I recently moved into a new apartment and decorated my bathroom in a fun and vibrant red theme. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find a shower curtain to match, but luckily Houzz had just the thing to tie it all together. Take a look here.
