The Houzz Pro Advisory Board

Every company knows that some of the best ideas, as well as critical feedback, comes from customers, the people who are using their product. At Houzz, speaking to our professional community and listening to their input via a host of channels — from our pro forum, to our client success team, to our pro surveys — has always been core to our development process. With so many pros in our community providing constructive and consistent feedback, last year we decided to formally launch the Houzz Pro Advisory Board, a diverse group of design and renovation professionals on Houzz who are interested in helping shape the Houzz platform and products.

Pros on the Advisory Board have multiple opportunities throughout the year to provide feedback in the areas that interest them most. We’ve hosted powerful in-person focus groups and individual video conferences where pros work directly with our product, engineering and research team members; members also get early access to test drive new tools and features. Advisory Board feedback has been instrumental in helping us build and continuously improve the new Houzz Pro homebase for pros that is now in beta with our professional community.
