Today we introduced a new augmented reality (AR) feature within our app for iPhone and iPad. The feature, part of our View in My Room 3D tool, enables shoppers to hang wall products such as paintings, mirrors, shelves lighting and more, in their home, true to scale using patent-pending technology. All you have to do is place your phone against the wall to virtually hang the product you love.
With today’s app update, you can also virtually hang ceiling products such as pendant lights, and place small products like table lamps on top of tables and other surfaces – both 3D objects and real world surfaces. Our 3D product catalogue now has more than one million home furniture, decor and remodeling products for every style and budget – from sofas to bathroom vanities. Each product viewed in 3D is automatically kept in a shopping list for easy checkout
